The Stags Head Hotel

Conveniently situated in the heart of Bowness on Windermere, we offer the ideal getaway location for exploring this picturesque and historic town.

Our 21 rooms are all comfortable and tastefully decorated, with central heating, en-suite shower/bathrooms,. We have a choice of twin(26 people), double’s and family rooms or a luxury suite comprising a 4-poster bed and lounge area.

The pay and display car-park is only a couple of minute’s walk from the hotel.

The Stags Head operates a busy programme of music and entertainment with a late license every night, allowing residents to enjoy our lively and friendly atmosphere, the bar is extremely popular at weekends, food served to 2.30 Mon-Thurs till 7pm weekends.

Our hearty Full English Breakfast will set you up for the day, so you can take in some of the superb local walks or excellent Golf Courses.
